My name is Alex Lavois, living in Evergem, nearby Ghent in Belgium.

My work strongly focuses on helping people feel comfortable in their own skin and improving their self-image by creating honest, authentic images. In addition to my main focus, I also engage in experimental photography projects, such as using DIY lenses made from disposable cameras to capture raw and unfiltered moments.

With my work, I aim to create unique visual experiences that emphasize simplicity and genuine emotion.

How it started

During my time as a student, I began photographing my girlfriend, aiming to capture the softness and sensuality of her body in a way that felt intimate and authentic. After sharing these images with friends, I received more and more requests for similar shoots, which eventually led me to pursue photography.
